July 2024’s History Girls trip was an outing to the historic Little Moreton Hall, Congelton. If you doubted your eyesight from the outside, walking on the wonky floors inside was another matter ! Ladies were treated to talks on the history of the house & the Moreton family, with details of what life would have been like at the Hall & also historical information in relation to the various festivals & events that would have taken place in the month of July in Tudor times.
