Hartford WI group is never quiet & apart from the weekly activities there are a number of additional activities held during the month.
September 2026
Wednesday, 23rd September – History Girls – The History Girls will be participating in a tour around Great Budworth Village hosted by Robert Steel. Meet at St Johns Church, 9.30 a.m.
Friday, 11th September – Music Group – The music group this month will be listening to some of their favourite dance tunes. Please refer to group leader for venue details.
Friday, 25th September – Book Group – The book group meet at 10.00 – 12.00 at the pavillion on the green field, Hartford to discuss their favourite books & recommended reads for others.
Thursdays, Hartford Hot Shots – The walking netball team meet every Thursday evening, 6.00 p.m. – 7.00 p.m. Rudheath Academy, Shipbrook Road, Rudheath, CW9 7DT
Thursday, 24th September – Bite Club – ladies will be meeting at Pesto, Tarporley, 6.30 p.m. to enjoy an evening meal & catch up with friends.
Wednesday, 30th September – Hartford Hikers – The hikers will be meeting at Whitegate Church, 9.30 p.m. to start a walk along the Whitegate Way & surrounding area.
Monday, 7th September – The Green Goddesses – in conjunction with the national WI Clean River Water Campaign, our climate & sustainability ambassadors will be hosting a water testing morning along the banks of the River Weaver. Meet at entrance of Marshall Arm Nature Reserve, Stones Manor Lane, 10.30 a.m.
Thursdays, Darts Group – The darts group will be honing their skills on the 1st & 3rd Thursdays of the month at the Coachman, Hartford, 1.30 p.m. – 3.00 p.m.
Tuesdays, Art Group – the art group meet 10.00 – 12.00 at Hartford Methodist Church Hall. They learn how to paint using different media including watercolour & acrylic.
