The first gathering of the New Year and twas a very cold evening, but this did not stop the ladies of Hartford who braved the cold to come out to the WI meeting.
Our President firstly wished a happy New Year to all & welcomed visitors. Ladies were reminded that resolutions would be voted for at the February meeting. Group leaders updated attendees of activities taking place during the month What’s on this month ?
Aside from the monthly activities there are also a few additional events taking place, namely 15th January, VRG darts quiz at Owley Wood & 18th March a 1940’s music & dance evening organised by VRG at Winsford Conservative Club (please refer to our VRG rep for tickets).
After the general business of the evening had taken place, ladies were given a very interesting talk from Claire Coney of Lifestyle Nutrition & Health Ltd. Claire highlighted why nutrition for key conditions is important & why food matters to sustain habits for a healthy brain.
